I am a BACP registered Counsellor, I work with individuals, couples and young people (age 13 and above) from comfortable therapy rooms in Hinckley. I offer both long and short term face-to-face counselling.
Anyone can find themselves at a time in life when events or situations impact on their emotional or mental wellbeing. This may be due to a sudden change such as a bereavement or the end of a relationship. For some it may be living or working in an environment which they feel unhappy with. You may find it hard to identify a cause for your feelings, but know something isn't how you would like it to be.
We are all unique and react differently to events that happen and situations we find ourselves in. Feelings of sadness or depression may be felt by some people whereas others may experience anxiety or anger in a similar situation.
At these times it can be helpful to talk about your thoughts and feelings in a safe space with someone who will not judge you.
How can counselling help?
As a counsellor I offer a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment in which you can talk about your personal problems.
I will listen to what is happening to you and assist you to explore your thoughts and feelings about your situation. Through this you can gain a deeper understanding of yourself and your relationships as well as identify changes that you may want to make.
